Nidhi Sahay has graduated with a B.B.A. LLB degree in the year 2018 from CMR Law School, Bengaluru. She is gold – medalist and a University rank holder of Karnataka State Law University in B.B.A. LLB course for the academic year 2013-2018. She has also been awarded the Most Outstanding Student by CMR Law School. She has won many national moot court competitions and debates.
Nidhi regularly advises and represents clients before Supreme Court of India, High Court of Delhi, NCLAT, NCLAT, NCDRC, NGT, Trial Court and other Courts/Tribunals in Delhi. Before that, she was working as an Associate in the Supreme Court Team of P&A Law offices, where she had worked on various matters which include criminal, IBC and arbitration matters. She started her professional with Chambers of Aditya Shankar where she aided in drafting of pleadings, arguing, appearances, attending court room proceedings, briefing and assisting Senior Advocates before Supreme Court of India, Delhi High Court and other Courts & Tribunals.
Nidhi has more than 5 years of experience and is practicing as an independent advocate before Supreme Court of India, High Court of Delhi, NCLAT, NCLAT, NCDRC, NGT, Trial Court and other Courts/Tribunals in Delhi. She has successfully represented some of the political leaders such as Ms. Bharati Ghosh (Ex IPS, Ex Vice President, BJP West Bengal, Presently National Spokesperson of BJP & Member of National Executive Committee of BJP), Mr. Saumitra Khan MP for Bishnupur constituency and currently serves as the President of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha West Bengal, Mr. Mukul Roy, former Railway Minister of India, before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and Delhi High Court.
She has represented M/s KPR Fertilizers Limited & Anr. and Torrent Power Ltd. in various proceedings pertaining to consumer disputes. She has also represented clients like Shrachi Burdwan Developers Pvt. Ltd. and National Highways Industrial Development Corporation Ltd in land acquisition matters before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and the High Court. She has also represented clients who have been arrayed as an accused in proceedings initiated by several law enforcement agencies in India such as key managerial persons of LG Korea, a Korean Global electronics conglomerate, Google, a US based web search engine, Bhushan Steel, Sanofi and KPR Agrochem, to name a few. She has also represented TATA Steel BSL in its insolvency proceedings. She has also represented Schlumberger Asia Services Ltd., a US based global oilfield services company, Amazon.com and Amazon Seller Services, US based e-commerce company, in arbitration and related proceedings.
She is a member of Supreme Court Bar Association, Delhi High Court Bar Association and Bar Council of Delhi.
